  24. 1/2 cup milk
  25. 1 tablespoon butter/oil
  26. 1 tablespoon flour
  27. 1 pinch salt
  28. 1-2 tablespoons water(optional)

  1. Pour the warm water in a bowl;add yeast and sugar. Mix and leave to proof for 2-5 minutes
  2. In another bowl,pour flour,add salt and mix
  3. Combine wet(yeast,warm water and sugar) and dry ingredients. Mix until a ball is formed
  4. Flour a surface;transfer the dough to the surface and knead for 5-10 minutes till gluten is formed(and we have a stretchy dough)
  5. Place the dough back in bowl and smear the surface with oil. Cover with a kitchen napkin and place in warm place for 1 hour or till dough doubles in size
  6. While waiting for dough to rise,you can prepare your pizza sauce.
  7. Place all ingredients for the sauce in a pan, add some water and cover. Cook till it softens. Pour in a blender and blend till you obtain a smooth consistency
  8. Put a pot on medium heat,add some oil. When it is hot,pour the blended tomatoes.
  9. Add some tomato paste(optional),seasoningcube & salt and thyme. Add little water. Cover to fry well and thicken. And the sauce is ready(dont mind my spoon🙈)

  11. Put a pan on low heat,add butter or oil
  12. Pour the flour and pinch of salt and stir to dissolve for about 1 - 2 minutes
  13. Pour the milk and boil till it thickens
    Tip: stir continually as it boils to prevent lumps. Also using a whisk to stir eases the job
  14. Tah dah! Our white pizza sauce is ready
  15. For the toppings,cut the onions, red and green bell pepper in strips,slice the carrots and the sausages
  16. Now we can bring out our dough which must have doubled in size. Place on a flat surface,deflate and roll out(not too thin and not too thick). I don't have a rolling pin so I used the pestle of my little mortar.
  17. This recipe makes a large pizza size so if you are using a smaller pan size and you want a flatter crust,divide dough into two. If you do not have a pizza pan,use the cover of a pot or a frying pan or any flat surfaced item for cooking.
  18. Slightly oil the surface to prevent sticking. Stretch out the dough to fit the pan. The dough might shrink back but dont worry,it will regain its shape.😅
  19. Add the tomato sauce and spread to cover the dough
  20. The add the white sauce (cheese if you are using cheese)and also spread to cover the dough
  21. Arrange the toppings(onions,red and green bell peppers,carrots,sausages) and sprinkle the chilli powder (for some hotness)
  22. Place in a pre heated oven and bake for 20-30 minutes at 180°C or 350°F
  23. Pizza is ready....slice with a knife or pizza cutter....Bon appetite 😇😇😋😋
